If you press REC in SD3 and play it in your host so that it gets recorded,
much like you would have done in SD2, then it should work.
The E-drum MIDI transform works on incoming MIDI. The MIDI track
in SD3, sort of, sits inside of it. If you import your MIDI directly into
the track in SD3 it doesn’t get applied.

drdrum,
no, the bounce has not changed in that respect. It has changed in that you record
the MIDI into the built-in MIDI track so that you can view and edit it before bouncing.
Apart from that it works like in SD2.

No. Turn that off in your TD50. Well, unless you like the result.

From what I remember we found two issues that both causes problems like those you reported. One was a bug in the SD3 MIDI track that caused some jitter when playing up the MIDI. This has been fixed. The other is harder to get to 100% grips with. It is that each individual MIDI file has a certain resolution in time called “division” and since you mix and match lots of MIDI loops in our song track the MIDI files we create when you export it will have some division that may be different compared to that of the constituting MIDI files. We have increased the division we use when exporting.
So your report led to two changes and they are currently being tested and are likely to be there in the next release, 3.0.3.
On the other hand. You should not worry that these small timing deviations in 3.0.2 should lead to problems with your mixes. They will not cause phasing issues. They will cause very small differences in the timing of the sounds played but thay are so small that nobody before you has noticed them.

As far as we know our plug-ins work well on High Sierra for all the formats: VST, AAX and AU. The only problem is garageband. The reason for this would seem to be that Apple has deliberately decided that garageband should no longer be able to use normal AUs. Garageband is now an iPhone App first and a computer program second. There may still be workarounds. You could try this one:
Still, this is a short term solution. It may be that you have to use another DAW than garageband if you want to use Toontrack products in the future.

No. That is one of the things that have disappeared as a consequence
of the changes made in going to SD3. Well, at least, as regards layer limits
and polyphony. Turning articulations on/off was not available in SD2.
We are aware of these shortcomings.

This is our open E-drum workshop forum where you discuss making
your own drum pads and tweaking drum modules. Which might be
fine for your posts. But if you expect support for SD3 you should post
in the SD3 support forum:

Yes, your SD2 user combined presets are available in SD3. You find them
in the main preset menu in a sub-menu below the SD3 user preset stuff.
Most of the SD2 presets sound very similar in SD3 but the effects are
not exactly the same and there are some advanced things you can do
with MidiNodes in SD2 that you can’t do in SD3 so we can’t guarrante
‘full satisfaction’ when loading an SD2 preset.

Hold down SHIFT. Also works for the scroll wheel but only above the
number display not over the slider itself.

The fix will be there in 3.0.3. When you reported the problems 3.0.2 had
already been built and sent to testers.

As John wrote, we have found the reason for those clicks. There is no
reason to speculate about their existence. They are there.

The SSD option is a means of delivery only. It does not come with any
license to use what’s on the drive. You need to buy SD3 for that.
>For someone whose system cannot load an additional 200gb of data
> the SSD drive is NOT optional but a necessity.
Well, you don’t really have to buy our drive. You can buy one yourself
and download and install the library onto it. But, yes, part of the idea
with the SSD option is to help people out in this situation by supplying
a pre-installed SSD drive that will deliver great performance just as soon
as it is plugged in.
