Hey, Listen to the samples on the website, the noise is there. If they cant produce the demos without it, it’s definitely there. Its not your system.
Yes at the end of a song. It is in Superior drummer as well. Sounds like a mic pre that is turned up too much. The hiss is louder than the tail on most symbols.
You can even hear it in the Toontrack demos online. Try these ones. toontrack.com/product/death-metal-ezx. Go to presets and drums, listen at the end of the demo. In a quiet part of a song or the ending at loud listening levels it has been enough for me to change the way a song ends to avoid it. It’s not good.
Has anyone who has complained about this been able to solve the problem?
I have this also but it happens without a drum machine too.
I only use the software to trigger the drums and the noise is there. It sounds like a bad preamp or mic hiss either way it should not be there.
Its is heard in Pro Tools and in the stand alone.
I see lots of people with this issue and I have it also.
It sounds like microphone or preamp hiss that is louder than the tail on the drum and symbol samples.
Nowhere do I see it resolved.
No, only bought the program a couple of months ago, checked on the site before purchasing the SDX files and saw where it said all SDX files work in superior drummer 3 so assumed any for sale would be OK.
Hi
Thanks for the response.
Should the loaded kit only be 200MB or so? I think I saw one that was around 400MB as well. Only downloaded last night so know nothing about this SDX.
All the other SDX files are GB’s when loaded. SD3 has been out for 12months this problem would have to be known of for that long as well.
If they are working on it they are super slow. It does not look like they are doing anything about it.
Thanks
Neil.
