Run it in a DAW, and it will do you well.
Yes, it should work like that. I mix and match between Rock Solid and Metal expansion packs. This thread tells you how to swap drums https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/swapping-drums-kit-to-kit/
Are you changing to the correct library?
Thank you. I am now. I didn’t know about switching libraries.
I tried that. The kicks in the screenshot are not showing in Rock Solid.
Use whatever you like. Why buy more than one expansion? How many kits do think you will need? The more kits you have, the longer you will spend trying them out. Spare yourself some money.

Thanked by: sebberskI would cut and paste the shaker into its own midi track and reverb it there.
You might want to take the low end down. Screenshot is at https://www.dropbox.com/s/y1ppxaw45ge06bu/Screenshot%20snare%20eq.png?dl=0
I get something like it with Izotope Ozone. I’m out tonight but will see if I can send you the EQ settings tomorrow.
It’s tough in EZD Standalone. If you find a preset that has a Ride Channel on the Mixer Tab you might be able to have less room/ambient mics and more direct Ride sound. I only say that if you’re desperate though.
It’s necessary to use a DAW in this case. It’s typical that sustaining overtones ring at a specific note/frequency, and you would use an EQ to lower that specific frequency’s volume. Can send you a vid link if you wish that has the general idea.
Does ezdrummer let us import our own samples?
Open hats always are louder; that’s how they are. A studio with an acoustic kit couldn’t do much about it other than put a lot of compression on the mic. If you must have them the same, put them each in its own track and balance the level. I don’t see the point in playing a shut hat.

Thanked by: vsdookieI’m looking at where the midi drums are named by music notes. Open the midi track in Edit by 2x clicking on the track.

I’ll stick to running EZ in Studio One. A standalone kit is little good to me. Thanks for your help.
