Anywhere! From Toontrack.com via the download option or any 3rd party dealer that is on the VSSD system (Virtual Stock Software Distribution).

VSSD dealers can provide you with a serial number instantly upon completion of the sale.

The price for the download options and the disc options are the same.

    Hi,

The exact quote from the sweetwater’s website is 7,500 sound files at 16-bit/44.1kHz (equivalent to 5Gb of uncompressed WAV files). Key word is equivalent.

This is a true statement. Our programmers are very clever and they have developed a compression algorithm that can take 5 gigs of samples and reduce it to less than a gig.

Absolutely infuriated by wasting so much of my life trying to get EZ Drummer working within Logic !

I’ve now spent perhaps one whole hour trying to register – getting “authorisation codes”, passwords etc etc.

If your problem is only with the authorization, we’d suggest you try authorizing through Toontrack Solo instead. Sometimes keyboard commands in Logic interfere with letters in the authorization code. The latest version of Toontrack Solo is available from your Toontrack account.

To launch EZdrummer in Logic, Please first create an instrument track. Then open the Mixer and click the I/O button and select AU instruments > Toontrack > EZDrummer > Stereo or Multichannel.

You will then see the EZdrummer plugin.

Correct, once you drag and drop the MIDI to Reaper all velocity editing must then be done in Reaper…. (I should have mentioned this earlier). This can easily be done by selecting all of the MIDI events in your track and raising the velocity to the desired level. If every event is selected together the performance will remain intact.

    Cheers.

    Hi,

The only reason that The Library of the Extreme MIDI would sound less powerful than the MetalHeads MIDI is the difference in Velocity between the two performances. EZdrummer and the MetalHeads expansion only play the appropriate sample for the MIDI information that they are fed with. The quickest fix in this instance would be to turn the Velocity knob up in the EZdrummer plugin. This will increase the overall velocity of the MIDI played in EZdrummer. The Velocity knob is located just to the right of the “Open Grooves” button.

As for your other question regarding the “triplets”… this again is in the MIDI performance itself and it would not be caused by EZdrummer or MetalHeads. The only way to change this unfortunately would be to edit the MIDI or use a quantizing function in your DAW.

    Hi,

Yes, you can use these MIDI devices with Beatstation as long as you set up the MIDI device in Beatstaion Solo, or your host. To set the MIDI device in Beatstation solo click the MIDI menu > MIDI Device, and select the appropriate device. Of Course any special drivers for these MIDI controllers must first be installed as usual for this to work.

    Thanks.
