These are also available in EZdrummer 2. They are found in the song track menu. This menu is found at the top right of the song track (i.e. where you drag and drop grooves) under the option for “Change tempo.”

‘I can click an arrow on any of the individual instruments in the kit, and then click the Kit button in the little dialog that pops up’.
OK. Now this makes sense. To be very clear (for those like me who did not read this part of the manual), you choose the various factory-defined kits by right-clicking any kit piece. In the box that pops up, on the BOTTOM RIGHT, you will see the word “kit” with an arrow pointing down underneath it. left click the arrow and you kit a drop down menu that allows you to change the entire kit to any of the Toontrack-defined kit presets.
I understand this… BUT the confusion I have is which corresponding Preset(s) do I need to choose in the orange menu field for these kits to match the sound/operation of EZD 1.
Is it any of the ‘Version 1’ presets?
Hope that makes sense!
The Default preset will make the kit sound exactly as it did in EZD 1 when you chose a kit. Any other preset however could be selected to change the sound of the kit.

Professional audio ASIO drivers are required for low latency. You can find an ASIO driver here: http://www.asio4all.com.
AS for the space bar issue, have you updated to version 2.0.1? Does EZDrummer read 2.0.1 in the bottom Right corner of the EZDrummer interface?

I first have to recommend that you download and install the 2.0.1 software update for EZdrummer 2. This update is found in your account by clicking My account > My products > EZDrummer > Updates > 2.0.1
Please also let us know if you are referring to the Timeline in EZdrummer 2 or tap to find? As stated the space bar should not function in tap to find.

Hi,
This is due to a corrupted download.
Please try a different web browser and make sure that your internet connection is not dropping out. It may also be useful to try a download manager, such as the add on download managers in Firefox.

is there a way to put swing in a pattern?
No. EZDrummer 2 does not have a function to add swing to a MIDI file.

HI
Please make sure that any and all pending windows updates are installed before trying to install EZDrummer 2.
If this alone does not solve the problem please try turning off UAC just for the duration of the install.
See this link about UAC. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/turn-user-account-control-on-off#1TC=windows-7
Once the installation is finished you should turn UAC back on though.

Hi,
Authorizations on Toontrack.com have no connection with a users ability to install. Therefore the installation troubles that you are encountering are a coincidence. Please provide us with your system specifications and the error message that you receive when installing and we will be able to help.

In EZ1 we could easily find the drum mad, for writing with a MIDI keyboard. Where is it in EZ2 ?
Sound libraries > Then highlight the specific sound library that you want and you will see the MIDI layout.
You can drag grooves out of the EZDrummer 2 song track to Sonar’s track. You can then edit the MIDI in sonar.

You can also quantize the different drum parts of a MIDI click, for example the snare. Right click on a block, choose “Edit Play Style”. In there – right click, for example, the snare on the drum kit and choose “Quantize” from the menu
Yes, but how do I add, say, one snare hit to the snare line on the beat that I want? I know that you can increase the number of snare hits, but that doesn’t always put them where I want them.
You could enable the record function in EZdrummer 2 and record a MIDI note by clicking on the drum when you want it to sound (or by using a MIDI controller). Otherwise You would need to do this in the Sonar piano roll editor.

Hi
Please post your computer specifications. Operating system name and version, CPU and RAM.
Just to be clear, it should be known that the space bar will not do anything in Tap to find. It will only control playback in the Songtrack at the bottom of EZDrummer 2.

Jens,
It should be known however that MHE is not a knob like it is in Superior Drummer 2. Its simply on all of the time for cymbals.
