Now with EZKeys 2 in the pipeline (pre-ordered and ready to go!) I am sooo…looking forward to an EZ acoustic guitar. There are some great midi acoustic guitars out there, but none of them have the kind of interface that EZbass and now EZkeys 2 have. No vacations for you guys until we get our EZ guitars!!

Thanked by: TREVOR TINBERGDitto on the B3. It’s beyond comprehension that a B3was not one of their first add-ons.

Thanked by: Flamey and drdrumDoesn’t that feature already exist with the “use browser midi” button? (upper left of the song track ).
I would also like very much to see an EZ acoustic guitar. Something along the lines of the Native Instruments Session guitarist plugin. It seems like it would be relatively easy to create some rhythm guitar parts, both midi strumming and picked guitar patterns, in a way similar to the Session guitarist plug-ins but applied to the EZBass format. That would be a very welcome addition. I can see why they would start with EZ bass, which is pretty much monophonic. I expect the polyphonic nature of the piano keyboard is also one reason why there has been such a delay in creating a new EZkeys. To try to do some of the fancier stuff with so many notes and chords involved is probably a programmers nightmare. Even so, it seems like some simple mechanical upgrades to the interface, etc. would be EZ enough to create, at least to hold us over until they come out with a major upgrade.
My Vote: Just make EZkeys2 as flexible as EZbass…multiple trax; grid editor; drag and drop midi/audio files to suggest or create trax; etc.
BTW: where the heck is the Hammond B3?
Finally: How about an EZacoustic guitar?
Love you guys, and I have already pre-ordered EZdrummer3. When can I pre-order EZKeys2?
Thanks.
Yes, yes, yes!!
Blues, Rockabilly, Jazz, Bluegrass, folk…all require an upright, acoustic bass!
I especially second the earlier Willie Dixon request, and will raise you Bill Black, Ransom Knowling, Ray Brown, and Milt Hinton!!
I will buy every related variation of upright acoustic bass the moment it (they) is (are) available!!
Yes, please! Upright bass with both jazz, bluegrass, and blues (ala Willie Dixon on Muddy Waters’ 50s and 60s records) midi would be incredibly useful for me.
Thanks!
