Hi again, I just loaded the Custom Shop EZX in SD3 and the chokes don’t work… it seems the fix only applied to SD3 SDX’s?

The SD 3.1.5 update is out now and it should solve this.

Yes, it’s working now, all cymbals choke, thanks a lot!

Any updates on this? I too have the xD3 module and I have no choke, the module sends 48 as well and there is no way to change the value on the module.

For those with a roland module, there’s a hidden setting in all the newer Roland Modules like Td-25, TD-25, TD-30 and TD-50, it’s called the USB/Audio input gain and it’s by default set to -12dB which causes SD3 to be barely audible when triggered with the module, maybe search for a setting like that in your midi controller?

There’s no way currently to control SD3 remotely but what you can do is get an iPad and install a display extender app like duet display and mount it on the rack of your td-50 and control Sd3 from there, provided is in the same room and connected to the same wifi, that’s what I did and works like a charm.

You need to log in to your toontrack account to have access and be able to post in the support forum for SD3

Hi, that’s not how a license transfer works, you’d have to transfer the license yourself to the new owner after the sale. Also it’s not clear if you are selling the EZ2 upgrade version or the full EZ2 package.

It happens to me as well, it happens when using my roland module to trigger the SD3 sounds but then later when I want to use SD3 without the roland module just to check something I get the message “audio device inactive” after that I have to reselect the audio device in my mac and restart SD3 standalone because none of the menu buttons work, it seems SD3 don’t automatically switch the audio device and wants to use the latest device used, in my case the roland td-50 module.

Here we go again… if you’d only increase the gain in the USB Audio setting on the module…. it has nothing to do with velocities.
