    Hi Herbert,

sorry to hear you are having problems.
    Could you please elaborate?
Are you referring to EZdrummer 2 or 3?
Are you getting any error message(s)?
    Can you provide screen shot(s)?

If you install to your C:\ drive first you can move the library, please see this FAQ:
    https://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-do-i-move-my-sound-libraries-expansions-to-an-external-drive/

    Hi,

I would recommend visiting Toontrack’s YouTube channel for tutorials (and product info):

And if I’m not mistaken, they are 16 Bit Audio

The 1st gen EZX:s are 16 bit, from the 2nd gen EZX:s became 18 bit and if I’m not mistaken 3rd gen EZX:s are 20 bit.

When you do a drag and drop like you say does Windows leave the file in it’s original place as well as placing the file in it’s new place so you have 2 identical files in 2 different places? I know MacOS does that unless you use a key modifier.

When you drag and drop a folder in the Explorer from one location to another it will be Moved if it is on the same drive, copied if it is between different drives.
Modifier keys are: Ctrl for copying instead of moving; and Shift for moving instead of copying.

Changing path to a library can be done in the PM via the Installation Info tab or setting the path in SD3 via Settings>Libraries/Paths.

    Hi,
I have most of my libraries on external NVMe SSD drives in TB enclosures and e.g. the Nashville Slam loads in just a couple of seconds. Much bigger kits from other libraries as well. IOW, there is no NVMe inherent “slowness” with SD3 libraries. My Kontakt and Spitfire libraries on the same drives load as fast (or slow) in my opinion. Hard to compare IMO.

What I do notice is that one of the drives is FAT32-formatted instead of AFPS and this one load libraries slightly slower but we’re still talking seconds for ≈6GB kits.

I suspect that something else than the SD3 software is the culprit of your slow loading times on your system.

Hi Pieter, sorry to hear you feel that way but the EULA is available for all to read before any purchase is made.
Reaching out to clear Auths is never any problem but I hope you realise that clearing your Auths 5 times in less than a year for some of your products does not fall under regular terms.

    Inactive Auths removed.

    Hi,

please open the Toontrack Product Manager Application (do not download via the web interface) and ‘Show Details’. Click the grey ‘Download’ button. When downloaded the button should change to ‘Install’.

    Hi,

without having the preset to look at, it’s hard but do you get the same behaviour from the same preset if you load it in the SD3 standalone application? (I didn’t watch the video, btw, on a train with no headphones)

Hi, if you don’t have any Note selected in the Grid Editor and ‘Select All’ (Cmd/Ctrl+A), all notes in the Song will be selected. If you after that click a Block on the Song Track, all Notes within that Block will be selected. Clicking once again after the last Block on the Song Track will select all Notes.

I’d like to be able to set a precise pan value in the mixer. It seems bizarre that this is not possible, unless I’ve missed something.

Hi, I guess you mean that you would like to be able to input a number with your computer keyboard?

If you have trouble finding the exact right position while dragging the pan slider with your mouse, holding the Shift button lets you fine-tune the value.

    John
