    Hi,

I am not sure I understand you correctly, you should indeed have ‘Project Specific’ and not ‘Force Cache’ checked. And on the Memory drop down you check that ‘Cached’ is off.

    Hi,

it sounds as if you have the plugin loaded in a host and ‘Follow Host’ enabled. If so, you need to disable ‘Follow Host’ to hear the Tempo (and Time Sig) changes on your SD3 Track. To get your host and SD3 internally to play the same changes, you can either edit the changes in your host and then export a dummy MP3 file from your host to import the Tempo changes to your SD3 Song Track or vice versa.
Or is this in the standalone application?

    Hi,

there should be about 100 MIDI files divided into 5 “Songs” with Intro, Verse, Pre Chorus, Chorus and Bridge variations in the Soul Roads EKX.

AFAIK, these are different instruments and sampled at different times with different hardware. The Classic Electrics has a Wurlitzer 200A and a Rhodes MK I. The Soul Roads has got a Rhodes Stage 73 MK I and a Rhodes Stage 73 MK II.

    Hi,

please download the Installer package for the demo again, it contains the Uninstaller as well as the Installer. Once Downloaded, the Uninstall option should be available in the Toontrack Product Manager.

    Hi,

in the Toontrack Instruments you have the option to click a ‘Shop Web Shop MIDI’ button on the Grooves page. This lets you browse and audition MIDI you do not own for previewing and make your decision.

    Hi,

switch the lane below the notes from Velocity to Sustain, like in the attached screen shot, and you will see the Sustain Pedal data.
You also have some Damping data in your song.EZB_Sustain
You can select, edit and remove the data.

Regarding saved Tempo: When you insert EZbass as a plug-in in a host, it defaults to having ‘Follow Host’ enabled, which is in general the desired behaviour. This means EZbass disregards any Tempo information on its internal Song Track and only listens to which Tempo is sent from the host.
If you disable ‘Follow Host’, you will see that EZbass defaults to 120 bpm. If you set the Tempo to something else, either static or enter Tempo changes, alternatively import Tempo information from a MIDI file, this Tempo gets saved with your Project file, even if you have ‘Follow Host’ enabled in the plug-in when you Save.
    So there’s nothing wrong there.

When I try playing the two octave notes (or any other) in your example, I have no trouble hearing both octaves. Was there such a passage in your Project?

I couldn’t hear a chorus effect when I played the Bb3 note but I will have to listen again when I get to the studio.

    Hi,

I just checked the Project and there is a lot of Sustain Pedal data in that part, so if you just tidy that up, the grace notes will sound as expected. If the Sustain is on, it doesn’t matter that you cut the end of the notes, they will still ring and I am not sure it’s supposed to work with ringing notes in a chord and adding a grace note in the middle of that.

    Does this help?

    Hi Tony,

first make sure you are on the latest version (currently 2.0.1). It *may* be a limitation on imported EZkeys 1 projects (I will have to check on that) but you can always ‘Search with Tap2Find’.
If the groove you used isn’t too modified and still in your library, it should be one of the top results, at least that’s how it works for me when I try with my EZkeys 1 projects.

    BR,
    John
