    Hi,

I would suggest you Export a MIDI file from Pro Tools (doesn’t matter what’s in it), since this will export Tempo and Time Signature changes to the MIDI file.
Then go to the ‘Track’ Menu for the Song Track and Import Time Signatures from MIDI and locate the MIDI file. If you have Tempo changes on the Pro Tools Timeline, you can do the same for those. The ‘Follow Host’ feature only works for Tempo changes, since Time Signature is not sent from the host to the Plug-In.

    Hi,

as I wrote above but elaborating:

    • the 1st one is a Drums & Mixer Preset and saves the current kit and how you have configured each Instrument in all the Property Boxes plus how the Mixer is set up with EQ’s, Comp’s and Buses. It does not save Output routings, it does not save any applied MIDI Preset, it does not save MIDI on the Song Track(s), it does not save anything in the Tracker, it does not save the Property Boxes View, i.e. which Property Boxes you wish to see. This one is “local” so to speak and is only visible in the Library you used to create it. It has a specific location it must reside in to be picked up by your system.
    • The 2nd one is just the Property Box View preset, i.e. which Property Boxes you wish to see. It does not save anything else and has nothing to do with any actual kit piece or its sound. It’s for viewing convenience, depending on what you are working with and how you wish the Property Boxes to be presented when you do. This BoxState preset also needs to be in a specific place to be picked up by SD3.
    • The 3rd one is saving everything and I mean everything; kit pieces, properties, views, mixer channels settings, buses and outputs, Song Track(s), Tracker data, MIDI Presets, etc, etc. It can reside anywhere you like, since it is opened via the File Menu.

    Hi Ken S,

User presets in the Mixer, whether it is Channel Presets or individual Effect Presets, can be recalled regardless of which Library is loaded.

I.e. if I find a Mixer Channel set up for a great Snare sound in a Preset in the Hansa Live Room Library, I can save it as a User Channel Preset and recall it on any other channel in any other library.

    Hi,

Shen is more or less spot on.

#1 is a Drums and Mixer Preset but it doesn’t save e.g. an applied MIDI Preset

#2 is indeed just a Property Box View preset, e.g. if you wish to see All boxes, just the ones connected to MIDI or the ones connected to shaping the sound

#3 is a Project file and saves the entire state of the plug-in, which means literally everything.

    Hi,

my guess its that the processed, warped audio is a real-time process native to Cubase, which isn’t possible to drag to the Bandmate. Dragging from host to plug-in is prohibited entirely in most hosts. If you have an Explorer window open with the audio files and the warped audio is baked into the file, you should be able to drag from the Explorer to Bandmate.

    Hi,

when you have ‘Follow Host’ Enabled in EZD3, it syncs to the Tempo sent by the DAW/host to the plug-in.
Time Signature, however, is not sent by the host, so you need to have it/them registered on the EZD3 Song Track to “see” it/them there.
If you export a MIDI file from your host project (does not matter what’s in it), it will contain both Tempo and Time Signature changes and via the ‘Track’ Menu, you can Import these Tempo and Time Signature maps to your EZD3 Song Track.

When using the EZD3 Song Track Export of Audio Files, the host is not running the Timeline, so if you have ‘Follow Host’ Enabled while doing the Export, the resulting files will just use the Tempo at the current Timeline position in the host. Disable ‘Follow Host’ while Exporting the Song Track Audio and make sure you have Imported Tempo and Time Signature from a MIDI file from the Host Project and the resulting files will play back as expected when Imported to your host Project.

    Hi,

which SDX and Snare Instrument are we talking about?
Have you tried opening the Voice and Layer Property Box for the Snare and removing the Limits?

    Hi,

what have you tried from the instructions earlier in this thread?

Are you looking for EZdrummer 3 among the AU Instruments?

    Hi,

you have already received the answer above but I just want to mention that the easy way to do this is to export a MIDI file from your DAW, it doesn’t matter what’s in it, then go to EZdrummer 3 > Track > Import Tempo from MIDI file and select this MIDI file. This will only import the Tempo + changes from the MIDI file. If you have Time Signature changes, the same thing applies.

‘Follow Host’ does what it says but while you Export the Song Track in EZD3 to Audio, the host is not running the Timeline so when Enabled and Exporting, EZD3 just follows the Tempo at the current timeline position.

    Hi,

is this with all your projects or a specific one?

Do you have a Tempo map in Cakewalk? Does it have an Offset? Do you have Time signature changes in your Cakewalk Project?

    Hi,

I am pretty sure this is about some setting in Guitar Pro. Can this have something to do with it?:

    Hi,

would it be possible for you to screen record this?
I would like to see your EZdrummer 3 and DAW settings like Tempo and Time signature (4/4, 6/8) and exactly which grooves you are dragging from the EZdrummer 3 plug-in.

    Hi,

if you check the ‘Supported Hosts’ list on the EZdrummer 3 product page, under ‘WILL MY DAW WORK WITH EZDRUMMER 3?’, it lists Pro Tools from version 12.
I believe this is because the AAX plug-in format introduced with Pro Tools 10 was 32-bit only, then it was a mixed 32/64bit AAX format in Pro Tools 11, to finally be 64-bit only with Pro Tools 12. The EZdrummer 3 plug-in is 64-bit only.

    Hi,

if you mean that you wish to be able to graphically edit/put/move instruments freely in the room on the DRUMS page, this is not possible.
