    Hi,

from what you describe above, it seems more like a hardware issue. Can you start with switching out cables?

Are you using the built-in USB MIDI connection?

    Hi,

there are a lot of unknown variables here so if you can be more specific about version of every involved software, not just EZdrummer 2 and how things are routed.
What exactly do you mean with “it cuts audio”? As in drop-outs? Total silence? And it is only the sound from EZdrummer, not all sound at the same time?
I first got the impression that you are using the plug-in in Logic but you write that “only EZdrummer does it”, which would indicate that you are using the standalone, or?

I know what OBS is but have no experience of using it, unfortunately.

    Hi,

did you start with selecting the SPD-SX MIDI Preset?
Are you using a HH Pedal with your SX Pro to control the openness of the HiHat?
Or are you just looking for triggering separate articulation hits?
You can tweak the SPD-SX preset to suit your playing and library and then save as your own preset.

    Thanks,

I can’t reproduce in standalone by simply removing the 2nd Kick, perhaps if you attached an SD3 Project where this happens?

I’ll forward this to a colleague.

To add, Sequence articulations are hits captured from a played sequence, as opposed to single captured hits.

    Hi,

standalone or plug-in? If the latter, which one?

Can you get please provide crash logs, system specifications and a recipe to reproduce?

Does it only happen with a specific project or just any?

A specific library or doesn’t it matter?

    BR,
    John

    Hi,

it would help if you could post a video and/or save a Project where this happens and zip archive and attach to a post here, otherwise it is hard to reproduce.

Does this happen in standalone, plug-in or both?

Does it happen if there are no MIDI controllers attached to your computer?

    Hi,

sorry no one has replied yet.
I am wondering why you write you can no longer install SD2? I think you can try installing SD2 via the Product Manager. For example, SD2 is listed as compatible with Mac OS 10.6 to 10.13 only and yet I can run it on an M1 MBP with Mac OS 13.6.

    1. Yes
    2. Impossible to give a straight answer to but Superior Drummer 2 was maintained for 10 years and you can still use it if your system does not prohibit it, e.g. you can’t run the VST2 in Native Silicon mode in Cubase on Mac

    Hi,

doesn’t it work to start with e.g. the Strike Pro preset and just tweak the differences? Then save as your own preset.

    OK,

before I pass this on to my colleagues for input, could you please try creating an ‘EZkeys’ folder in your {Mac HD}/Library/Application Support/ folder and then run the 1.2.5 installer again?

I edited the curves on the front page. I will check the settings page and see if that helps

    Hi keem85,

where are you editing your velocity curves?
You should be doing it on the MIDI In/E-drums page where you edit the MIDI Preset.
If needed, you can select more than one articulation/cymbal at once and edit the curve for all selected.
When done, save your edits as a new MIDI Preset.

    Hi Mike,

could you please try running the installer for the Grand Piano EKX first, before running the 1.2.5 updater?
