Hi,
is this without the EZdrummer 3 plug-in window being in focus? It sounds strange but you could always try disabling the Keyboard shortcuts in DAWs in EZdrummer 3 Settings > Keyboard Shortcuts.

Standalone for superior drummer seems to be working fine for me. After I assign the Roland td17 preset everything works as it should and don’t need to make any adjustments and the hi hat works and chokes on cymbals work. I tried saving those settings and importing into fl studio as a custom present but looks like it’s still mapped wrong through something inside of fl studio. Shame it just doesn’t work directly in fl studio as it does standalone not really sure how this workflow will work out having to try recording in standalone and playing back to get it to sync within fl studio after is not very good.
Well, as I tried to explain in my instructions above, FL Studio is a very different kind of beast when it comes to CC messages, since there is manual setting up involved to make it work as in the standalone and other DAWs.
Step-by-step in FL Studio

I hope this helps,
John

Sorry for the late reply but it has been sent to the programmers to investigate.

Hi,
what is the problem exactly? You can preview grooves from the store by clicking the ‘Shop Webshop MIDI’ and filter 3/4 signature.

No, what I’m referring to is FL Studio Settings and it most likely will not make any difference how you connect hardware-wise.
I tried to outline the steps in my post above but maybe you should start with just opening the SD3 standalone and make sure everything works as expected there first?
Open SD3 standalone, check the Audio/MIDI Settings, then go to MIDI In/E-Drums settings and select the preset for your module.

Hi bm9000,
as stated earlier in this thread (and other posts on the Forum), to be able to drag audio and/or MIDI from the DAW to a plug-in is not something controlled by the plug-in but restricted by the host. Most hosts do not allow for this but there are exceptions. Perhaps change is on the way, e.g. Avid just changed the latest version of Pro Tools to allow for dragging audio clips to plug-ins, so maybe that opens up for MIDI d-n-d as well. And if one DAW makes changes like this to improve user workflow, others might follow.
If you only wish to get MIDI from your DAW’s track to a Toontrack plug-in’s Song Track, you can hit Rec in the plug-in, then play back the DAW timeline to get the MIDI there, without needing to export MIDI then Import.

Hi, was this with both AU and VST? Which Live version are you using?

Hi,
I just tried in Live Lite 12 with both AU and VST versions and have no problems starting the Audio Track Analysis. Did you try Rescanning your plug-ins?

Hi,
it has been updated for EZdrummer 3 use, it has nice warm sounds and accompanying MIDI as other EZX:s and right now it’s 40% off.
Anything in particular you were wondering about?

Hi,
is the standalone behaving sluggish as well? I am also on Sonoma with an M1 Max MacBook Pro and haven’t experienced this.
If you are using Pro Tools, let the number of CPU cores in EZkeys settings be 1.

Thanked by: JandermanHi,
would it be possible for you to zip archive an FL Project where this is happening and attach to a post here?

Hi,
user presets are only stored locally, so yes, you need to back them up before switching computer and then transfer them to the new one. All user preset menus have a ‘Manage in Finder /Explorer’ entry to quickly find their location.

Hi,
I am not sure I understand you correctly but if you “only” wish to keep a multi-out routing you have saved in a Project/Preset when switching to another Preset, having the “Keep Output Routing on Preset Change” option checked would help you. This can be found in the Drums and Mixer Presets drop-down to the right of the Library drop-down.
Note however that libraries have different microphone setups, routings may have to be adjusted.

Thanked by: Scott EshlemanHi,
there’s a reason for everything but one I could think of is that if the name and pathway for a groove would be displayed in the groove part, it would most often be ridiculously long.
As Shootie wrote above; right-clicking a groove and either “Find > Select containing Folder in Grooves” or “Find > Search with Tap2Find” would give you results quicker than deciphering a very long groove part name.

John
