Right after my post, I tried downloading the Win 7 version instead of 10, and it worked as expected.

I am having the same issue on my Win 10 laptop which is not in S mode. In fact, it does not appear to be a feature in Win 10. I down loaded and ran the installer but the page reverts back to showing the installer icon without installing the Product Manager.

SOLVED. Right after posting the question below, I found in Audio midi set up where I had used the device default WASAPI. I changed it to ASIO, allowing me to change Hz to 41000. The TD-10 liked it.

A workflow of mine is to load audio files into my Roland TD-25 drum module.

EZKeys 2 appears to only allow WAVE audio files saved at 48000Hz. but my Roland TD-10 drum module requires WAV files that are 8, 16, or 24 bit with a sample rate of 44.1kHz. The bit rate can be met but the problem is the sample rate. How can I meet Rolands 44.1Hz requirement?

Roland goes on to say ”

If you’re sure you have a .WAV file or mp3 file that match this criteria and it still won’t play in the TD-25 , then the file may have embedded metadata, or “tags,” which will prevent it from playing. This can happen with files that come from DAWs (“Digital Audio Workstations”), other audio programs, or sample libraries.

You can strip this extra information from the file by converting it to Apple Lossless or FLAC format. After removing the information, the files will play in the TD-25. You can use various free programs (iTunes etc.) to perform this conversion.

Before I move on to stripping metadata, how can I meet the 44.1Hz requirement?

Maybe it will be released on December 9th along with the Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s FISA report? As much as I like seeing guilty people punished, I would most likely be spending my day with EZBass!

Henrik…thanks for taking time to reply.  I see D dim7 and Fm6 have the same notes.  The Fm6 is the first  inversion of D dim7.  You wrote “and we have made choices to only write one”  You don’t need to answer this but, the question in my mind is why ToonTrack choose that one?

Considering D dim and D half dim are controlled by the 7th, it seems to me calling the raised seventh version of the chord half diminished makes more sense than calling it Fm6 because the two diminished chords are related and easy to think about rather than the mental gymnastics involved in thinking a minor 3rd up from the root, adding a 6th and remembering it is the first inversion.

Good enough. We have a difference of opinion I can live with. At least when I run into this again, I’ll know what’s happening.

Where does the Click folder need to be? When I open the Metronome drop down in EZKeys, the click sound windows are empty which leads me to think I don’t have the Click folder located where EZKeys is looking for it.  I have the click folder so, another question is, can I C&P it to the correct location?

Nice work indeed. I hear a lot of ideas in there. I really like the tune. Cool
