A side note of the ‘Show MIDI files from subfolders’ option. Enabling this mean that all files from currently selected folder AND it’s sub folders will be visible immediately.
For example, you have a folder “A”, and all it contains is a folder “B”. Folder B contains a midi file “MIDI File”.
– If you in the folder browser area select folder A and having ‘Show MIDI files from subfolders’ you’ll see the “MIDI File”.
– If you have ‘Show MIDI files from subfolders’ disabled, you won’t see the file. In this case, you need to select folder “B” too.
I hope this clarifies it’s meaning 🙂

You can’t use “All” as MIDI channel on Superior Drummer 3, and use the default MIDI channel on the Logic track (since Superior anyway only will listen to the MIDI on that track)?

The song takes one back to mid 90s, playing Nintendo and having summer holiday from school 😀

Nice job, like the song and the mixing. The logo is cool too! 😀

Yes it will work! Make sure you have at least 250 GB available on it. The advantage of a faster disk (SSD for example) is that it will load the samples quicker into RAM, but once the samples are loaded, there’s no performance difference between different disks…

And also check the bleed levels. If you have bleed enabled it can give a “reverb”-ish sound. Bleed is when one instrument sounds in a mic it wasn’t intended to sound in – for example the snare sound is captured by the tom mics. If you in that case select a tom channel in the mixer, you can set how much the snare (or any other instrument) should sound in that microphone. This is done in the “Bleed from Instruments” Properties panel on the right side of the mixer.
You can also turn off all bleed, just to listen to what it sounds like. Select all Microphone Channels in the mixer, right click on any of them ans select “Disable Bleed from All Instruments”.

Can you attach the MIDI file to a post here so we can take a look at it? If it, for some reason, doesn’t work, you can also use any file sharing system and post the link here.

The different tracks in Superior Drummer 3 are made for different takes of the drums. Say you have a drum track, and you want to test another idea with different drums. By creating a new track you can try the new idea without deleting the old one. Tracks can als be used as a sketch pad, you drag down grooves that you might use soon and want to experiment with.
However, I understand that it would be useful with multiple tracks in the way you explained it: have them play at the same time. I will take a note of this as a feature request, and we’ll see what we can do…
Thanks for the feedback!

Note that this latency is affecting all plugins – so it’s recommended to record arm any track that you want to control an instrument/effect plugin on.
Besides Reaper, both Studio One and Logic has the same system – the track has high latency as long as the track isn’t record armed.

Ok, what preset, and what instruments did you add? Need the information to try to recreate this scenario! 🙂

I’ll ask the coders to run some tests in the mentioned DAWs. We’ll get back to you with the progress, or if we have additional questions regarding this matter. Thanks for the feedback!

Do you play only EZdrummer 2 – or do you play the Cubase track and EZdrummer 2 follows?
When you play the track in Cubase, EZdrummer 2 will follow that as long as “Follow Host” is enabled (a button below the EZdrummer 2 song track)…
