Can you record MIDI when you play like this in a DAW? It sounds like the hi-hat is sending some strange CC values here, so it would be useful to be able to analyze that. Either check the CC, or if you want help with that, post the MIDI file here!

Have you checked your e-mail, including the spam folder (if it for some obscure reason ended up there)? The registration code should be e-mailed to you, if you didn’t select to immediately register the product to your account…

Thanked by: kiparisDo you have multiple files that you place after each other? Can you instead bounce the files so they make up one long audio file for each instrument?
Tracker isn’t designed to work as a regular track, where you can place the audio at any given bar.

Hm, that sounds strange. Can you save the EZdrummer 2 project and post it here so we can have a look at it?
Try to go into edit play style of the right Song Block, right click the Hi-hat and copy the midi notes. Click the left song block, right click the hi-hat and paste. Does that work as intended?

Check out https://www.toontrack.com/product/hard-rock-ezx/. It’s made by Bob Rock, the man behind, for example, Metallica’s Black Album.
The EZX pages have audio demos that you can listen to 🙂

They are all made for both Mac and PC so you can just install the Product Manager on your new PC and download/install the products 🙂

Thanked by: Mike HaganHenrik, it is in the dropbox link above in post #2054261.
Yeah, we have analyzed that MIDI and found some issues that we have fixed, and will be released in next update.
If the MIDI in the post “I just ran into this bug yet again” is different, then we would like to inspect that too!

It looks like you don’t have permission to write to the folder you have selected to download the files to. Does it work if you download to the default Download folder?

I load it up, make a new superior drummer instrument and drag the drums I did before back into SD3. I make a couple of cuts and then start adding stuff to my project. I then want to edit the drums so I goto the grid editor and bang, Cubase is instantly shut down.
Is it possible for you to upload that MIDI, or a project file?

Ex. Estensen kit I load the kit parts. Then when I go to “HiHat” to select different sounds, all I get is a list of Perc 1, Perc 2, etc. forcing me to click and audition.
Is the problem that the instruments list contains instruments other than hi-hats? In presets where the hi-hat is replaced with something else, the preset creator wanted that feeling, and changing instrument should keep that feeling. That’s why the design is made as it is.
You can always press alt + r to go into Search for Instrument, click the wanted filter for “instrument types”, hi-hat for example, and preview all hi-hats, and then replace the current instrument.
I don’t know if I misunderstood your post here?

Can you further explain what you do and what happens?
Are you having a MIDI groove, and you add percussion in Edit Play Style, but they aren’t playing in sync?
