Thanks for the anwer.
I can’t give you a time estimate on this, or almost any features for that matter. Toontrack can’t tell you guys when certain features will be added, since it’s far more complex than to just implement the feature and release the new version. But we work as fast as we can, thanks for your patience!

Are you using the latest ASIO drivers for the Focusrite audio interface? This is probably the most common issue for audio glitches; not using the correct ASIO drivers.

When you (left) click on a chord, the chord selector will show up!

Update!
Seems like the best Audio Device is ASIO (which showed my Focusrite beside it!). I had this on Windows Audio.
Yeah, ASIO is a must. Windows drivers will add ish 2 days of latency 🙂

I have checked with some co-workers regarding this issue, and it’s strange thing, since the latency handling is done by DP.
Do you have the MIDI on the Superior Drummer 3 song track, or in a MIDI track in DP? Is there a difference if you try the one that you don’t have?

Ok, I think understand this problem now. Would a “Try again” button on the “Audio device inactive – check your audio device” popup fix your problem? That button would try to use the same settings as the last time it worked, in your case using the last used audio interface, with the last used multi out settings?

Adding to this is it also possible to show key and note number in all locations? can be confusing putting in note numbers for some and then looking at note letters on other. Especially as mine don’t always match up.
I’m not sure where you experience this problem, but in the MIDI Mapping and MIDI Monitor box menus (three horizontal lines in top right corner) you can select to show note number or key names. Changing in one of the boxes will show the same in MIDI Mapping, MIDI Monitor, and in the MIDI Mapping Keys view.
In MIDI In settings you are always shown both key name and note number.

Thanked by: Mark KingThe song track inside Superior Drummer 3 doesn’t use the mapping. The mapping is only applied to incoming MIDI, meaning that if you drag the MIDI outside of Superior Drummer 3, you should disable the MIDI mapping to make it play correctly!

I beg to differ! MetalMorph is compatible with iPad…. and it’s great!
Touché 😀

The MIDI settings are loaded from the project, meaning that if you always want a certain MIDI mapping loaded as soon as starting Superior Drummer 3, do the changes and save a Default Project (found in the main File menu). This means that Superior Drummer 3 will load the current settings, drums, mixer, etc. as you currently are using.
The settings aren’t automatically saved and loaded the next time you open Superior Drummer 3, because when you save a project, you may want to use that MIDI mapping for only that project.
Reply back here if you can’t get it to work!

One can also enable MIDI out in EZkeys, so that the MIDI is sent to another virtual instrument. This is nice option if you want to keep the MIDI in EZkeys 🙂

I agree with you, I’ll take a note in our feature request list. Thanks for the feedback!

You can start by loading the SD3 Default preset. This is a basic preset without any effects added in the mixer etc.
Select all instruments (shift + click in the instruments lists, above the drum kit in the Drums tab), and go to the More menu (right of the Instruments list) and select Remove Instruments. Now you have a empty kit, which you can save as a Preset, if you’d like to start with an empty again sometime.
Load instruments to the instrument positions, and you have your kit.
In the mixer, you can select all channels that says that they don’t have any mics to them, and hide them (since they are silent anyway).
Does this point you in the right direction?

Thanked by: onewayout_1When you set up a multi out project, there are two parts of it.
So if you do some changes to the project and save it, do some changes in the output routing in Audio/MIDI setup and close SD3. Open SD3 again and load the previously saved project. Now everything should be as it was before you closed SD3. If not, what are the differences?
Ps. make sure you are using the latest version of SD3 (v 3.1.2), to avoid already fixed bugs

The easiest solution would be if you stacked the bell and bow articulation on the edge, so when you hit that note, it will play the two sounds. Would this be a usable solution in your case?
