Does this happen when you load Kit preset (in the bottom of the menu), or the Drums and Mixer presets (in the top of the menu)?

    • If it’s the Kit presets:
      • If I select a Gretsch kit, when having another Gretsch kit loaded, there’s no visual feedback that the kit is changed
        • for example, having “Gretsch Round Badge” kit loaded, and loading “Gretsch Round Badge snares off”

in Digita Performer is it possible to bounce or freeze multiple individual outputs simutaneously?  And if so, how??? very important for me.

Please post not related questions in as new posts instead, so all the answers are related to the first question.

Regarding the question, maybe this video covers it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4RX7k5WTXcE

Toontrack will make a tool: “Compose your own new kit”… Select Kick from xxx, SN from; yyyy etc:     or: Toontrack will make a feature, “Save the selected instrument WITH the current mixer settings, ” (as user preset)  + “Load user instrument incl. mixer settings”  … dialog box :Replace the selected instrument ?

    Thanks for the suggestions!

It would be nice to be able to do what you suggest, and we’ll take a note of it on our feature request list!

It seems like your MIDI database is damaged. To fix this, go to Menu > Advanced > Restore Factory MIDI Database.

so I can split all OH channel into many tracks in the mixer ? to eq and pan the Kick and the Snare from OH only in diferent tracks How ? sorry for my ignorance

Yes. An OH mixer channel has several instruments sounding in to that channel. Those instruments can be routed to their own mixer channels, instead of being grouped in one OH channel.

In the mixer, right click any channel and select Route Instrument Microphones. In there you can select where to route each instrument’s microphones, including creating new mixer channels.

Looks like it’s always 48.  Unfortunately the aD5 doesn’t have a way to change that value.

Are you using SD3 in a DAW? In that case, maybe we can help you in the meantime with a solution for the aftertouch problem…

The stacked drums on the right side belongs to the selected instrument. So when you select the left kick the stacks on the right side belongs to that kick. When you select the right kick, the visible stacks belongs to that. So all stacks for all instruments aren’t visible at the same time!

You’ll find all presets in the presets menu, right of the library menu. In the bottom of the menu are these older presets placed.

Save a Drum and Mixer User Preset. Then select Show in Explorer/Finder to reveal the path where the user preset is saved, and copy that to the other computer. Place it in the same user preset folder on that computer.

    So if you

    • first right click the left kick, and in that menu go to More > Add Stack
    • Then right click on the right kick,  and do the same thing in More > Add Stack

    it doesn’t work?

You can add the MIDI file into Logic and make Logic use the tempo and time signature changes you have in the MIDI file.

I just tested EZkeys v 1.2.5 with Studio One 4.1.0, on a Mac using MacOS 10.14.4.

Both VST and AU worked when dragging MIDI so something’s happening on your setup that shouldn’t happen.

    • Does it crash with both VST and AU in Studio One?
    • Does it crash with all EZkeys libraries?
    • Does it crash when you drag any MIDI file, or just some?
    • Can you start EZkeys standalone and drag MIDI to Studio One?

    how do i assign those?

When you draw notes manually in the Grid Editor, you select where to add the notes. When using the CC curve, draw the notes on the trigger (“trig”) articulations.

why would it not use the Trig  ones by default if you’re playing an e kit?

When you play using your kit, the trigger articulations will most likely be used for hi-hat (and other CC controlled instruments, for example snare if you kit has such a snare).

When you select one kick, you can add a stack to it. Select the other and add another stack to that, it shouldn’t be a problem!

Remember to uncheck Use Alternate Hits in the Hit Variation property box if you don’t want the kicks to automatically alternate.
