You are the only person I’ve come across these days that uses Logic. It must be cold out there.
Weren’t you a big BFD fanboy for a long time?
I just think that ToonTracks could do better with SD3. The current version is not quite good enough in the current world, and they risk losing their edge.
Peace and Love.
I agree that this would improve SD3! We will continue to look into it, and if we had unlimited time and resources it would already have been fixed – unfortunately we don’t have that. Thanks for the feedback, and the patience!

That WOULD be a great feature.
Hopefully, it’s easy to implement. (Disclaimer: I know almost nothing about programming/coding or whatever the kids are calling it these days.)
The short answer is that almost nothing is easy to implement to a complex software, such as Superior Drummer 3 🙂

Great sound in both guitars, and drums (of course) ?

Thanked by: RandyVanMartiniSelect a drum, right click and select Search for Instrument…
In there, you can find and add all instruments from all your libraries 🙂 The filter section will help you, to (for example) see all snares from New York Studios Vol.1 SDX.
You can also select to stack the instruments, replace other positions etc. from Search from Instrument. These extra features are found in the More menu in the bottom right corner.

Thanked by: Rev2010Ah, ok. As I said; in normal cases the update would have been easier to spot for the user, but when installing to an offline computer it might be trickier. We’ll look into it! Thanks for the report.

Thanked by: Rev2010Did you use Product Manager the first time you installed, and installed it on the same computer that you used Product Manager on?
The scenario that you describe shouldn’t happen in the above case, since Product Manager will prompt you to install an update – e.g. you shouldn’t have to go into Details to see it…

It depends on the genre of country (modern, classic, “rock”-country, etc), but two of the most versatile instruments I use are:
https://www.toontrack.com/product/ezkeys-studio-grand/
https://www.toontrack.com/product/ezkeys-upright-piano/
A grand and an upright piano are really versatile, and can be used in basically any genre 🙂
But listen to the demos of all the instruments before you decide!

Those are just MIDI files, so you need to buy an EZkeys instrument to get the instrument and software – https://www.toontrack.com/ezkeys-line/#instruments

see my answer at https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/question-before-shop-ezkeys/#post-2477190
And I want to use Sweet midifile player for playlist and for full control for live playing with keyboards to sing
It depends on what you use Sweet MIDIfile Player for. In EZkeys, you can add folders to the browser so your MIDI files are accessible directly in the Browser of EZkeys. In there you can preview the MIDI files, and drag them to the song track, or (the most powerful feature) use Use Browser MIDI to directly preview the MIDI files with the current chords on the song track.

I am considering buying EZKEYS. But how do I synchronize EZKEYS with ezdrummer?
When you use both EZkeys and EZdrummer 2 in a DAW (such as Mixcraft), both will follow the tempo of the project, and sync the timelines. So just add a drum groove on bar 1 in EZdrummer 2, and a piano groove on bar 1 in EZkeys and they will sync. Just make sure that Follow Host is enabled in both programs.
Can I use keyboard parts from other midi files in EZKEYS?
Yes, just drag and drop the MIDI file into the EZkeys song track. It should detect the key of the MIDI, and adjust it to the song key you have setup in EZkeys.

Yes, you can drag in different MIDI files into EZdrummer 2. Most MIDI files with drums will work, but some may have different mapping (so that the hi-hat notes plays a tom, for example). But try it and get back here for further questions you may have after testing!

Thanks for the feature request, it’s noted!

You can’t edit the metadata for the files in EZdrummer 2. I will take a note of this as a feature request!
