I just tried to download the installer and it worked fine, so the file on the download network is ok.

Have you unzipped the installer files? Right click the downloaded installer zip-file and choose to extract the files to a new folder. From there, start the installer.
If you just click the zip-file and start the installer, it won’t work since the necessary installation files will still be inside the zip-file…

I can’t see the attachment so I guess there are some access issues when posting files here…

Have you checked your mixer channels outputs (if you are using multi out) so that the xdrum mixer channel(s) are using outputs that are correctly setup in your DAW?

You can use tap2find to search for beats that match what you tapped into EZdrummer 2 and you can record custom MIDI on the song track and you can use the amount knob and velocity knob, and also copy/move MIDI between drums in Edit Play Style to alter the MIDI blocks on the song track. You can’t, however, edit individual MIDI notes. Since you can do this in your DAW (Cubase, Logic etc) we decided to leave that part to the DAW, since they do that pretty well.
You can also first create a MIDI block in your DAW, then import it to EZdrummer 2 and continue to edit the MIDI there (changing power hand or using the amount knob for example).

The idea is noted. Anything that makes Toontrack software easier to understand, e.g. easier to use, is the core of our design philosophy!

The “Replace Entire Kit” grayed out menu entry is merely meant to be a header to explain what happens when you select any of the kits in the list. In gseshleman’s screenshot in the previous post the selectable kits are Basic, Default, Ayotte Alt, Gretsch and Dunnett Ludwig. Selecting any of them will replace the current kit. The “Empty Kit” loads an empty kit so you can fill each drum position with any drum of choice.
The non selectable “Replace Entire Kit” menu entry is a cause of confusion though, so it will be removed in the upcoming version 2.0.2, soon to be released!

There are some browsers that support resume on downloads, but in most cases you have to restart the download.

Please check that you have the latest version (main menu in the top right corner/”Check for updates”)

When you drag your MIDI into Logic X, do you uncheck the “Follow Host” button so that the track inside EZkeys isn’t playing?

If the DMG-file is damaged, it’s probably because the download wasn’t successful. Please try to download it again to see if that fixes your problem.

Yes, a SSD disk will speed up the loading time. The samples is read from the disk, so a faster disk will perform this faster.
