In EZdrummer 2 (both in the standalone application and as plug-in in a host) you can export the MIDI on the song track as a wave file, which is possible to loop.
Does that answer your question? 🙂

Are you using the latest version of EZkeys? Use the Toontrack Product Manager to keep track of the latest version of all Toontrack software.
If that’s not possible (or wanted), use the EZkeys Menu -> “Check for Updates…”

Analysing chords is quite a complex operation for software, and sometimes the result differs from what the user wants to see. One of the reasons is that a set of notes can be seen as several chords – depending on the circumstances.
With that said – you can save your MIDI song blocks in the Favorites folder in the Browser. This will keep the blocks with the same chords shown, so the next time you load the MIDI song blocks – they will look the same.

You can also drag and drop MIDI files from your hard drive, or desktop, straight into the song track of EZdrummer 2. So if you export the MIDI from the DAW (Studio One) to your desktop, you can drag that MIDI file to the song track 🙂
But most of the times – Scott’s example is the smoothest (if the DAW doesn’t support drag and drop) 🙂

One other thing to consider part from the obvious latency settings described above
is logic will have delay if your track or master buss has “certain” plugins inserted. If i recall , one of the compressor/limiters does this
and should only be added when mixing.
It’s the same problem if you are using the built in linear EQ. Note that it’s not enough to just turn off the plugins with latency – you have to remove them from the tracks(s)…

1. Set the latency low (64 or 128 is often enough)
2. Record enable the track that has EZdrummer 2 loaded. Logic adds latency if that’s not enabled.

Is the plugin small because of your screen resolution? Are your other instrument plugins also as small?
When you open EZdrummer 2 as a standalone (separately), you can’t use that in Studio One 3 – so that’s no solution unfortunately…

Thanks for the input! We are aware that this would be a nice feature, however, not as easy to implement unfortunately. But all requests and ideas are noted, so it’s nice to hear from our customers!

(I am assuming that you are talking about EZdrummer 2 here)
The standalone version of EZdrummer 2 (the one that opens up by itself, without loading it in a host, such as Studio One) can’t be used inside a host.
In Studio One 3, you need to open EZdrummer 2 just as you open up any other instrument plugin. If you can’t get that to work, let us know.

It is like Jazzmandan said, there is only one EZkeys plugin. In that, you select different librarys – the Mellotoon for example. Can you start EZkeys in Cubase? In that case, go to the Library menu in the top of the interface and select “Mellotoon”.
Let us know if that works!

A switch to turn off the chord work area when you want to work in the DAW.
It sounds like you haven’t tried disabling “Follow Host”, the button just right of the Tempo and Signature – in the bottom of the interface? Disabling it means that EZkeys won’t play its own timeline when you play your host’s timeline 🙂
