The clean button is made to clean up chords from notes that doesn’t belong in the chord. Sometimes this is something you want, but sometimes the notes outside the chord just sounds bad – so we made this button.
If the button is off and can’t be pressed it’s because the chord is “clean”, e.g. no more notes can be removed.

Hi
It sounds like the MIDI is sending a program change command to EZdrummer 2. MIDI can contain these messages, so that presets are changed via a MIDI command from the MIDI block/file.
You can make EZdrummer 2 not listen to these messages.
Go to Settings/MIDI Events in the main menu (top right of EZdrummer 2).
Turn off “Allow MIDI Program Change”.

I may misunderstand your request here, but you can record what you play to the song track of EZkeys. The chords will be analyzed and shown above the MIDI blocks. Now you can select the MIDI blocks, press “Use Browser MIDI” and change the play style – while the chords are still intact on the track.

If you drag a MIDI file into EZkeys song track it will be imported, it works if you drag a MIDI file from your desktop for example. However – not all DAWs support drag and drop out from their MIDI tracks. In those cases it’s easiest to just record the MIDI into EZkeys – just as you have done ๐

Have you tried using the Yamaha MIDI mapping in EZdrummer 2:s settings page? Further – many e-drums can be MIDI re-mapped, and it’s also possible to map incoming MIDI in many DAW:s.
Superior Drummer 2 is the bigger brother of EZdrummer 2, and has all the features required for a complete custom MIDI mapping.
We are aware of that there are features in Superior Drummer 2 that some users would like to see in EZdrummer 2, but we have to draw the line somewhere – to be able to call EZdrummer “EZ”. I can’t comment on future updates and releases, but we are listening to our customers and are always trying to make the most of you satisfied!

Yes, EZkeys can import any MIDI and will analyze the chords. Further – you can edit the chords analyzed by EZkeys by using the Chord Correction Tool.
After this is done and you have the MIDI song blocks and the chords, you can enable “Use Browser MIDI” to try your chords with the play styles from the browser.

Thanks for the ideas – they are noted! It’s a complicated procedure to design plugins – since they have some limitations compared to regular software. For example – pressing “delete” is by default taken over by the host, meaning that if you press delete in a plugin – you actually delete what’s selected in the host. We are, however, looking into including keyboard shortcuts since it’s a vital part of the workflow. It’s not an easy task – but we are on it ๐

These are sounds that comes from the sustain pedal. If you play a real piano this is what it sounds like when the sustain is released and all the strings vibrates from that action.
In preset “Standard” you can turn down the Pedal Noise knob in the bottom left corner. In “Raw Tweaks” it’s controlled by the Detail knob. Not all presets can control this volume, but if they can, they are called Pedal Noise or Detail.
