Check that you are using the latest version of EZdrummer 2 – in the main menu (top right corner), press “Check for Updates…”.

The first thing you should try it to run some other software with your MIDI controller to see if it stops working after a while disregarding what software you run!
Maybe you have done that?
If it always stops working, it is probably the drivers for the Alesis controller that are faulty… Please report back to let us know.

You can’t currently add tags to your own MIDI. It is, however, noted that users wants this so we are aware of it. I can’t tell you anything about what features will be implemented or when, but we try to put in features users wants to use!

You can enable MIDI out in EZdrummer 2 and send that MIDI to Superior Drummer 2. By doing that you can keep the MIDI in EZdrummer 2 and use the sounds from Superior Drummer 2 🙂
