Hello,
Can this be done with a Roland SPD30 as well?
Im wanting to change user presets with midi when I change kits on the SPD30.
Can anyone help me?
Cheers
Hi Dan, Just thinking could be your Speaker amp. Are there any Eq knobs on the back? Also what kind of sound do you get when you plug in headphones to the headphones out on the interface? If you get a great clean drum sound in headphones then most problem will be the speaker amp.
Is anything triggering in Ezdrummer and are you using an external audio interface? You can’t hear Ezdrummer 3 sounds through the TD 27 module unless you have asigned the module to be the output device.
I run Ezdrummer 3 standalone for live gigs on a 13″ Macbook pro mid 2012, 2,5 dual core i5 processor, 16gb ram, 1tb ssd harddrive with no troubles at all.
Presonus Audio one usb interface at 64 buffer size. No latency. Have also used my Roland spdsx as an interface with same results.
Been a workhorse for me.

Just a thought, I would use an SPD30 to trigger Ezdrummer 3. That way you can get hihat controller as well. Sorry not helping with initial problem.
It’s ok I’m ready to go bed. I’ll download tomorrow. May the 4th be with you. Lol
Don’t need to record enable when Im playing live. I’m not wanting to record to studio one. I just want the main audio from the Daw, Ezdrummer 2 included to route to OBS. Sorry I should’ve been a bit clearer.
Yep. Gospel EZX has separate ride channel.
Isn’t it just the snare buzz of the sample? I don’t hear a problem. If your playing to music can you hear it?
No, I returned the pad back to the dealer. I couldn’t get it to work so didn’t purchase it. Going with the Yamaha DTX multipad instead.
