yeah but that was my point, EZX’s have numerous styles such as hip-hop/reggaae/soul/funk/twisted etc…

SDX is only rock and metal.
New SDX today : Indie rock/folk

    ok.
So out of 9 Expansions we have only ONE that is not rock or similar : Jazz. I own it and it’s great !
But come on I find it unfair that all those other styles we can find in EZX’s are not released as SDX’s.

I bought the Metal Foundry, Jazz bundle, Custom & vintage + Of course SD2 that came with Avatar.
I don’t wanna buy another metal or rock/folk/pop kit I can already do a lot with those in lot of styles.
Well I would buy them but after having more various kits such as those mentionned above : reggae, hip-hop, weird kit ? progressive ? percussions/octobans ? funk, etc…

I just feel the team doesn’t care about SDX users because it’s all similar.
And today the “new” SDX released is actually based an old EZX…
why not do the same and release the other EZX’s raw high quality takes for hip-hop/reggae/soul/funk/twisted/percs then ?

    Hello !

I have a question : have you guys at Toontrack ever thought about SDX packs of splitted elements(not sure if it makes sense), like releasing A Hi-hat pack, a Cymbal pack (splashes, chinas, crashes or more exotic cymbals), percs or even better : an Octoban pack ?
I think that would be great for us to be able to extend our SDX libraries with separate elements without needing to buy a whole new kit just to get more splashes or chinas, toms, etc…

Anyway, I hope this metal month will bring Octobans into Toontrack libraries! (because I really don’t want to buy BFD just to get them)

    thanks for the reply

    Julien
