it is a realy shame to see that this was deleted … neither me was insulted nor i had a thing to complain about your discussion

i am not a supporter of the loudness war but of course i have tried to get a good balanced level of loudness out of that mix …

i think nowadays everyone is tryin to get a big amount of loudness but i am sure i was beyond clippin … it was interesting to see
the mix as a wave cause i always try to analyze by ear and not by eye … but i realy appreciate the effort of scott doing the wavegraph
and i was also realy curious bout the progress of the discussion you both had

why was it censored away ?? did it harm to anyone ??

i d realy like to see more of this kinds of comments and discussions cause everyone benefits from this i think

so please … do not censor threads if the are valuable

Hey … thank you to write a comment in this thread … realy appreciate your effort

i strongly recommend those BKP’s … they are imho the best you can get for your guitar …

but it strongly depends on the music you make … for some genre other PU’s do a good job too

i have equiped all my 7-stringers with em cause they convinced me with this brutal clarity … but i have no experience with
painkillers … but nailbomb, aftermath and warpig are realy excellent

Anyway … would realy like to read more critix, advices, comments anything …

@ajxtjs … yeah the axe is a great tool but some percents of the sound are the guitar and the play too … hahaha …
anyway … i realy like crowbar/pantera/down stuff so i should not be surprised to sound like them … and our vocalist
will be very pleased to get this comparison … hahahaha

sounds a little “oldschoolish” but in a realy realy good way with a huge amount of brutality … and the guitars sound like
8-strings … hahaha … have you pitched them down ?? realy like it

so i am bumping myself now cause in first of all i cannot believe that if 94 views are correct there is only one person with an oppinion to it

anyway … it is realy important to me as i am no drummer to get critix bout drumprogramming and drumsounds

so c’mon would realy be nice to get one or some more comments … tomorrow is my birthday and that would be a nice present

Huh … haven t been here for a long time

i am trapped in producing my “real” band AlienLimbSign and it takes a lot of time … it s weird if you do recordings for ya own stuff you do not need to listen to your drummer, bass player or singer how they wanna sound but if you have to you are immediatly pushed to your mixin limits … hope to get out of it soon to post some of it in here … it s all drums on superior all strings on Axe … just the vox are recorded still “old school”

xxxFlashxxx – i am using superior with tmf for my own stuff … but i am still not satisfied with my patches … but if you want i can send ’em to ya

how much guitar tracks have you recorded ??  anyway, your riffs are realy cool
 
as you stated out yourself … the cymbals are a little too loud and maybe the bassdrum could need compression and/or limiter … but you are definitly on the right track

I like everything: great riffs, great leads, great sound and great playing!!!!

And YES, Deutschland 3rd place !!!They did very well in the tournament. The final game (Netherlands-Spain) was rather disappointing, and the referee was such a moron……

don t know much about the eleven rack … i was using a pod x3 and a sansamp(and a lot of software ) before i was pointed into the axefx direction  … and i never regreted that i have bought it
