Thanks for the direction..
Also if I go and uninstall the 2 midi packs through PM is that going to fugazi my midi list?
Man I bought the 6 pack yesterday that included the progressive foundry and Metal Foundry. Now I bought both SDX’s.
Can I swap out the 2 midi packs for others or too late?
He’ll yeah. I know bob rock won’t but come on. I’d Buy it right now. I would buy the bundle but bought progressive already.

Thanked by: drdrumI know. I go back and forth being pissed at apple and the coders of software. The 64 bit announcement has been out there for years and everyone acts like it’s news.
It’s the new security features they put in thats the big hassle. They should have sent out out fixes for coders early on to prepare.
In the end I got it installed… so I’m good for now.

Thanked by: Henrik EkblomOlof, I did exactly as you suggested and it never worked until I did a system reboot. Then it worked.
just what needed.
Ok here’s the deal. Move them to the ‘HOME’ directory as ‘admin’ states in other threads… BUT do a restart after and they will then install.
What a pain in the ass…
A workaround for this issue with the Sound Installer on macOS Catalina is to change the download location in Product Manager to somewhere that is not within your Downloads, Documents or Desktop folders, nor on an external disk. I would suggest a new folder named “Toontrack Downloads” located directly in your home folder. Then use the “Move Downloads” button (in the Product Manager preferences window). When that is done, you should be able to install.
However, this won’t help if you want to install to an external disk. See https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/cant-install-on-catalina/page/2/#post-2493536 for how to install manually in that case.

Thanked by: ALTMANNJust did this and still does NOT WORK. I just paid over $400 for software I can’t install because no one can code a basic installer in 64bit?
