We have made some improvements for this issue. Hopefully next version of EZbass will behave better for you.

Thanked by: DonWhat I mean with “complex”, is that I wonder if you experience this with other simpler phrases as well, just so that it would be easier for us to replicate? Of course EZbass should be able to handle any kind of playing, no matter how difficult, but it’s easier for us to debug if we have a simple pattern where we know it happens every time.
It’s very good that you attached the midi files. But since if I record the Cubase midi from Cubase into EZbass I don’t experience your problem, I assume that the problem lies in the combination of the incoming midi and EZbass. Somehow EZbass misinterprets the recorded midi in some way that Cubase doesn’t.
Anyways, we’ll keep investigating further.

Ok, great that you got it working! Although it’s strange that it didn’t until you switched sample rate. We’ll keep this is method in mind in case any other users are having trouble with the Babyface interface.

We have now got our hands on a Babyface Pro. We cannot replicate you hanging notes however. Can you check again that you have the latest drivers and firmware for both you keyboard and your Babyface interface?
Do you experience this problem on simpler grooves as well, or is it just very complex ones like the one you posted that are problematic?

Hi Shawn and jbis!
We’ve just got our hands on a Babyface Pro now. If I connect my guitar to analog input 3, go to EZbass Audio Settings and select ASIO, and ASIO Fireface USB, and then input channel Analog 3 it works just fine here when I record in the tracker. Same with analog input 4.
Can you make sure that you have set the correct device and input channels, and that your Babyface has got the latest drivers, and the latest firmware update?

Ok, good to know. We will investigate issues with Babyface Pro further.

If I record that Cubase midi into EZbass, it sounds fine. So it must probably be something with you controller that EZbass can’t handle. What controller are you using? Are you using the latest drivers for your controller?

Thanks for a great report! This will be fixed in the next version. If you want this to stop happening right now, you can right click on the midi block and de-select the ‘Auto-Adjust Chord Transitions’ option. There is also a setting for the default value of this option in Settings -> General.
