Yes – I’m also very disappointed by this. All of my other EZX expansions work as advertised and expected. The Pop! expansion pack is definitely lacking in this regard. Toontrack is such a great company. I’m very surprised that they were so lazy and/or sloppy with this kit.
Reply To: No presets in the POP! EZX? version: 2.1.8

It works as advertised. Ask the presets are there. As shown in the FAQ video and stated in my reply, they are in the Kits menu.
EZD2 had 2 preset locations. EZdrummer 2 presets and Drum kit presets.
Since the Pop! EZX is an older library (pre EZD2), the presets are in the Kits menu because they were created as Kits and didn’t use the newer Ezdrummer 2 presets parameters.
Nothing is broken to be fixed. It is the correct location for the kit presets.
Well, all my old Ezdrummer1 EZX:es except Latin percussion have at least some EZdrummer2 presets. Even the Cocktail kit does. So POP! lacking them seems more like an oversight or laziness. Certainly worth a simple upgrade in my book.
Yes. I quite like the ezdrummer2presets menu. Allows for a fast workflow. At the very least it’s confusing that most ezx have them and some don’t. This warrants an update un my book.
The question is if there are supposed to be any presets (“ezdrummer2 presets”) in the POP! EZX. The demos I have seen in EZdrummer 1 surely show that there are supposed to be some (dark, aggro etc). Why don’t they show up in the ezdrummer2 preset menu? As per my attached image, where I can only find Basic and Original mix.

Then you should be safe with deleting the remaining stuff in the EZdrummer folder, after you have uninstalled what can be uninstalled with PM.
Will do. Thanks!

If you are using EZdrummer 1, you are correct in that you can’t point the software to the new location.
Did it work to uninstall the EZX’s via Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel?
Yep, it’s EZdrummer 1.
The EZX:es don’t show up in the list of programs, only the main app did.

It sounds like you may have some extremely old MSI based installs for those EZXs.
No, I just downloaded the install files a couple of days ago using the very same PM.

hum, actually, I think the problem is a bug in the Uninstaller that was resolved quite a while back, but is not in use in all the products downloads. The workaround would be either to reinstall EZdrummer so you can uninstall those EZXs (then uninstall EZdrummer, not the other way around),
I tried reinstalling EZdrummer with all updates. Didn’t make a difference.

or yes, you can simply delete the EZX folders manually.
YAY! And there are no other files hidden away anywhere else that will come back to bite me?

On the other hand, if what you are trying to do is to move your EZHOME to a different drive then you should just be able to copy the entire EZdrummer directory where you want it, then reinstall EZdrummer, pointing the installer to this new location.
I googled this and found this page saying you have to uninstall and reinstall on the new location (unless you have EZdrummer 2 of course)
