    It doesn’t sound like you would really need an SDX to achieve this sound. The core library would be more than capable of handling this. at most, you might need a small ambient drum room reverb within your DAW. However, impulse responses are rather common these days.

    The Core library in SD3 can handle this without any need for expansions or layering. As well, you have greater control over the mixer channels, effects and processing.

    Thanks guys. I think I’m just going to sell a guitar and take the plunge on SD3. I started out years ago as a drummer and am afraid that after awhile I might want to tweak & manipulate my beats beyond what EZX will allow me to do.
