New song demo, rock

Hey guys, it’s been FORRRRR EVVVVVVVVER since ive had a chance to post anything, so, i figured id put up one of the latest things ive done with toontrack stuff:-)

the song is “Wake Up”, the band is a ccm (contemporary christian music) band named ‘ashes remain’, and the song uses:
Sup2, Allaire kit with the Black Beauty snare, everything else is default kit pieces
a few instances of EZMix (as well as other plugs)
recorded and mixed in Logic 9.1

ps- theres a bit of rumble i heard in the beginning that isnt present in the full res aiff, i guess soundclouds conversion added something:-(

Cool sound. The song’s cool and the production really suits it – I like the ‘rock meets electro’ kinda vibe if I can describe it that way, it sounds really modern.

Would you care to elaborate on how/where you used EXMix? Reason I ask is I just picked EZMix up a couple of days ago – haven’t had a chance to really use it yet as the project I just started is in the tracking stage, but the quick muck around I had with it made me think it’s going to be a very useful tool for the mix-challenged like myself…

Anyway, good job on the song man.

Very nice work.
I think you did a really nice job on the tunes – they’re really loud!

But that’s not the worst thing in the world – it’s what the public seems to dig these days.
But I really do like the Mix and tunes as a whole.
