Invalid serial number despite brand new product??

Hi! Just bought a brand new EZdrummer boxed version at...

Hi! Just bought a brand new EZdrummer boxed version at Europe´s largest musicstore. While trying to register the product with the serial number printed on the back of the DVD sleeve, I received the message, that my serial number is invalid evrytime I typed it in and clicked the “submit” button.
I even tried to replace Gs with 6s and the other way round,too. It just won´t work! I do not use any other toontrack products.
What could be the reason of this problem?

Perhaps everyone’s issue is the same as mine:  If you highlight and copy the serial number from an email, it doesn’t paste properly.  The first square gets only 3 characters and the last gets 5.     I’ve simply had to type them in manually and that always works..
