Make sure of the U or V or the 2 or Z in addition to the G and 6.

Thanks for your support! I replaced a “2” with “z” and it worked!

Hi! Just bought a brand new EZdrummer boxed version at Europe´s largest musicstore. While trying to register the product with the serial number printed on the back of the DVD sleeve, I received the message, that my serial number is invalid evrytime I typed it in and clicked the “submit” button.
I even tried to replace Gs with 6s and the other way round, too. It just won´t work! I do not use any other toontrack products.
What could be the reason of this problem?

    me too, nothing working

    @Tommyo17:
    ‘Nothing working’ is pretty wide.
Did you already try replacing characters as per the advice above?
Did you contact the seller for assistance?
Have you opened a Ticket with Toontrack Support?

I am having the exact same problem. I have never had so much trouble with a serial number on any product in all my life. I have entered U, V, G, 6, 2, and Z alternatively over a dozen times and nothing works. How do I rectify this? Should I take a photo of the Superior drummer serial number and mail it to someone so they can decipher?

I just bought ezdrummer2 from 4sound in Stockholm today and I get the same invalid serial number message. I have also tried to write U instead of V etc. I would really appreciate if I could get some help.

I had the same problem with a few toontrack authorizations. I used the “offline method” to authorize and used “cut and paste” to insure the codes were correct, and it finally worked. Hope that helps

EZdrummer Lite has been discontinued since May 2014. It is no longer available.

    Getting the same problem also.
I wanted to check for updates so decided to log in but everytime I put the serial info in from the dvd 1 sleeve,I get either an invladid message or this serial number is already registered to another account.
P.S. I remember my modem died on me and I got a new one sent by my isp.
I see that the software resets if you make any changes to your computer.
    Could that be it?

    Hi,

    please contact Support directly:
    http://www.toontrack.com/faq/my-issue-is-not-covered-in-this-faq-what-next/
and click the ‘Contact Support’ button.
It’s got nothing to do with hardware change. The serial is most likely registered to another account in your name.

The question is a bit old by now, but I had the same problem and solved it by typing in the big letters in big.
(the field on the website makes the letters big automatically, but they are not typed in big)
    Sorry for my bad english!
