Midi likes to do battle with me and invariably, it always wins.
I am using Cakewalk Sonar Artist. Yes, it’s relatively old and the company isn’t in business anymore but there support has been taken over by another company. Regardless.
I created a song in EZ Drummer and exported the midi to a file. I then imported that file into my song. I don’t even know if that’s the right way to do it.
Sadly, Sonar insists on going to one of my midi devices for the sounds of the drums. I want the EZ Drummer sounds. How, in God’s name, do I tell my software to get the sounds from EZ Drummer? It is looking for an input port. I don’t know what the input port is. It keeps looking to my midisport 4×4 for them. This is so infuriating.
I believe they are treated as a plug-in no?
I am about to pull my hair out and I have a lot of hair.
HELP!!!
