Hi guys i really love this thing, i was goin to get a expensice Roland kit but i decided to trigger a nice accoustic drum set that i have in my apartment, so im really confused right about what to do can you guys help me out a litle so first: What is the best module for triggering?is Alesis IO is good?or should i go TD-20? What is the best trigger out there?i found a guy http://www.extremedrums.com he does custom trigger too what should i do?
Please guys help me out!!Thanks very much and i can wait to finish this project and then buy all your softwares.

The alesis trigger io is great for recording and much cheaper.  As for the custom trigger, I have made a simple tutorial for edrum beginners on a budget (http://www.folsom-tech.com).  Check it out.  It can be extremely cheap and quiter than triggering acoustic drums.  However, you might want to save yours.  You could follow my tutorial and instead of running the jack through the drum, you could run it between the head and the drum.  I have done this during testing at times.
