EZMix only for individual tracks?

Hi – I’m reading about EZMix and looking at some demos on youtube.

I see there are a lot of settings for individual tracks, like drums, voice, bass, guitar, etc. That looks pretty cool.

But once all the individual tracks are EZMix-ed so they sound good individually, won’t they have to be massaged further to fit together well?

I may have it wrong but … doesn’t that mean breaking out the EQs, Compressors, Limiters, etc … what I was trying to avoid by buying EZMix?

I read/saw, I think, that it has only a few (two?) for this purpose … is there anywhere I could see more about these? (I’ll look for a demo version, maybe that’s where …)?

No, there are a bunch of presets that can be used on busses and master. There are a couple of ‘Master’ presets that are designed for the master bus for volume and a ‘Drum Bus’ preset for, em, the drum bus. Then there are a bunch of ‘Compressor’ presets that can be used on busses. Hell, even the ‘insert’ presets can be used on busses if they sound right. Experimentation is the key.

Also, I really advocate learning to look past the pre-set names and categories.
It’s all in the ear of the beholder.
A bass preset can sound great on a drum kit ambience channel. A mastering eq/compressor patch can be killer on snare drum. Etc. etc….

I was asking the same thing before I bought Ez mix

I have to tell you though for the price the product is out of this world!

I didnt think it was going to be any good when I bought it because I thought a product at that price would be well lets just say half ased

BUT….

Dam was I wrong!

I love Ez mix I dont know how I got on with out it now

I have been useing it more than any of my other plugs now and it is my GO TO TOOL!

Its a great product at a great price you should go for it !

You will not be disapointed !

I looked at a couple of recent sessions of mine and all it had was EZmix all over it! I hadnt used one other plug in haha
