A few days ago I got my hands on a Yamaha DTXpress IV Special drumkit which I would like to use with EZ Drummer and Superior one day. I use Sonar Producer 6 right now…but I guess that all the music programs are the same when it comes to midi-triggering, right?
What I did was this: 1) Connected the Yamaha sound module through midi-usb to the PC. 2) Opened Sonar and opened EZ Drummer.
Nothing happens. The midi channel is set to omni…so I guess it should be able to see the Yamaha kit.
What do I need to do now? I am totally new to this.
