Hi there,
I’ve just got EZD 2.
It all worked well on 2.1.8 but after installing 2.2.1 the percussions suddenly did not work. So I wanted to reinstall 2.1.8 and therefore uninstalled EZD2 via the product manager.
Now the installer does not allow me to install AU or VST. I can only select the core library and RTAS variant.
Right now I have nothing after switching from EZD 1 to EZD 2.
Running on OS X 10.11 and Logic Pro 9.1.8
Can anyone help me, please?
I’ve spent the whole day trying to figure it out but I can’t use EZD2 anymore. It does not install properly.

Thanked by: Michael KöbkeUnfortunately not.
It does not exist. And I can’t install it from the 2.1.8 installer as well.

In Product Manager, go into EZDrummer and show details, could you post the results here?

Thanked by: Michael KöbkeI could install the plugin formats when using the 2.2.1 installer now.
So far I can use EZD2 now.
But: The percussions don’t work.
Going back to 2.1.8 still not possible.

Latin Percussion, Latin Cuban Percussion? What isn’t working, do you get an error message? Does it not show up in your list of EZXs?
What does Product Manager details say about the EZX that is not working?

Thanked by: Michael KöbkeSorry – I was not precise.
The regular Percussions that come with EZD2 (One Shot, Shaker etc.)
They can be triggered but they don’t work when opening the play style editor.
I can work wround that copying those MIDIs from the browser into the respective part.
It’s okay but still somewhat unpleasant.

Please take a look at this FAQ and see if what you are experiencing isn’t expected as it’s how it functions or not.

Thanked by: Michael KöbkeThanks for the replies but no one helped so far.
How can I sent you a video of my problem? Keep getting the message “file is too big”.
It’s not about sound, triggering or anything. It’s about the amount button inside the play style editor. It does not add percussions.

Have you zipped the video before posting? Try that.

Thanked by: Michael Köbkedid you ever get a solution for this? i need to know since this is the only forum i’ve seen of this issue.
standalone is not installed * is was .. don’t know what happened, Cant get it back.. HELP
Hey @Toontrack I’m having what sounds like the same issue. I’ve uninstalled ezdrummer using an uninstallation program that deletes all associated files. I’ve manually searched all my drives and deleted any folder that contained ezdrummer data and cleaned the registry so I can have the cleanest reinstall. The download manager shows nothing is installed but I keep getting an error another version is currently installed.
