The Toontrack MIDI packs are made for use with Toontrack samplers (EZD2, S2,et al). They install and appear in the sampler browser along with the other MIDI grooves.

    Thanks Scott,
What is the difference from Americana Midi pack and the sound expansions library ( other than the price ), I would assume that midi pack uses existing drum kits and the Expansions Library use new live recorded kits ?
And How many drum patterns Intro`s and fills etc are in these Packets , I´m looking at buying one of them ,
Once again thanks for your time

MIDI packs contain only MIDI grooves, no new sounds. You can use the kits/sounds you already have from EZD2.

EZXs have MIDI and new kit/sounds, thus the higher price tag.

I believe the Americana MIDI pack has around 430 MIDI grooves.

I think I’m fairly decent at making my main beats, but found the “Fills midi pack” definitely spiced up my drum tracks big time. Made them sound much more like a real drummer, and you can even chop them up and just use parts of the fills. Well worth the $29.00 in my opinion.
