Nice Song….. A few suggestions on the mix:

    1. The vocal is sometimes buried by the piano. Try to bring the vocal more out in front.

    2. The background vocals would sound better if they were panned a little left/right of the main vocal.

    Other than that great song!

    Hi Tom,
    I like all 3 versions.
The vocals are fantastic! (I’m jealous) 🙂
The only suggestion I would make is directed toward the male vocal version.
There are a couple of times where less words would work better to allow the song to breath.
An example is around the 54 sec to 1 minute mark.
I do realize that it is easier said then done, I struggle with this all the time.
    Anyway great job all around!
I should probably check ezKeys out, it sounds good.

    Thanks notstewart!
Arend make the lyric and the vocal on My music so I have no control over it.
Maybe he have a lot to say in the song, and it is to short 😉

    Hey Tom,
Are the people you collaborated with local friends, or internet friends?
The reason I ask is because if it’s internet friends, I’m curious to how that works…as far as recording/mixing etc.?

    thanks,

    Paul

    Hi notstewart and wagzisnotadrummer!

I live in Thailand and my friends in USA, France and Canada, so Internet friends, I never se them in real life.
I make my part of the music in Logic pro and save it as a mp3 file, and mail it to next who do his part in his DAW, then his mix as mp3 to next who do the rest,
Then I get all track they make in.aiff from every one, for mixing/mastering, then I upload it 🙂
    Thats the way we work

I hope I make you understand the workflow 🙂

Interesting…It sounds pretty good after all that.
Do you use .aiff only because you’re using Logic?
Would a Wav file also be an option (I realize it’s a bigger file)?

    thanks for answering!

I use Mac so it is “aiff’ file, but Wav is OK, some time we us mp3 to (minimum 256kbps) if we send by mail.

    Thanks Tom!!

I listened to the new song, the lyrics (to me) are a bit weak.
    Everything else sounds good.
