There is an E-drum generic MIDI preset posted here:
http://www.toontrack.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=61431
which is pre-set up with the Hihat Trig notes, etc.
You should not assign the articulations, Closed, Open, etc. to trig notes.
There are a lot of posts in this section discussing this.
Start with installing and loading the MIDI preset when you work in Sonar and tweak from there.
To get Cymbal chokes to respond to Aftertouch, you:
select a Cymbal, Enable the Envelope for it, switch it to respond to ‘Aftertouch’ and then tweak the Release time.
Typical values would be in the 50-100 ms range.
