Same thing with Custom & Vintage and New York Vol. 2 libraries. Windows here.

Same thing here with Custom & Vintage and Metal Foundry on Windows 10. I also tried rebooting and redownloading of the updates – no change. However, I noticed that the updater process is still running in the task manager consuming 12-15% of CPU on my machine. But even after more than half an hour nothing happened.

Progressive Foundry and Music City updates worked like a charm though (same machine, same setup, same steps).

Yes, The Metal Foundry and Custom & Vintage won’t update. Updater still processing even I’ve deleted the package and logged out from Toontrack Product Manager. Windows 7 here.

Same here WIndows 10 64 Bit fully up do date
    New York II (Both kits)
    Custom Vintage
    Metal Foundry
The installer unzips (even did this manually too)
When running the installer it sits doing nothing – looking in task manager shows 9% CPU usage but no other activity
Tried rebooting, re downloading, clearing temp files etc.

All other updates ran as expected.

Same her for C&V and NY Vol2.

I am also experiencing the exact same problems here. Sound Library updates 1.5.0 for both New York Studios Vol.2 SDX and Metal Foundry will not install through Product Manager. I initialize the install, I see an “SDX Sound Updater (32 bit)” entry appear in my Task Manager, using about 9% CPU but it does nothing. The downloaded packages do unzip successfully but the installer just sits in Task Manager doing nothing.

As other users have pointed out, even if I shut down Product Manager, the SDX Sound Updater (32 bit) still shows in Task Manager until I reboot the PC.

I even tried downloading the update packages through the Toontrack website but their behavior is identical, so it’s the update package, not Product Manager that seems to be at fault.

I am using Windows 10 64 bit OS.

This happened over here too, W10.

I killed the installer process and just wrote over the update files (in “Contents” folder) manually. Everything worked thereafter. 🙂
