I’ve just set up a new workstation with Windows 7 64-bit, Sonar Platinum and still using EZdrummer v1.4. On this new rig I cannot get any sound out of EZdrummer v1.4 and I have tried eveything I can think of to troubleshoot the problem. I cannot find a way to contact Toontrack support directly so I’m trying the forum here.
First of all, I have reinstalled the plugin ensuring the correct install dir for vstplugins. The synch is in the vst plugin scan path of Sonar Platinum and recognized correctly. I’m quite certain all settings are correct when I add the synth to a new project. I have loaded this next to both Session Drummer 3 and Addictive Drums 2 in the same project and I can get both of the other 2 drum synths to work fine.
I see activity and midi is being triggered and sent to the synth module. Therefore i’m thinking that the module is not triggering the actual sound files for the individual kit pieces as it should. It’s really a baffling problem and i’m at wits end.
can I please get an engagement with Toontrack support and an email address or number to call in order to quickly get to the bottom of this?
