I have been using this software for some time now. I love the sounds and the control–especially with the midi editor feature, which I find to be incredibly flexible. Of course, I do not think it’s for beginners.
Having said that, I have a problem with the grooves. For a songwriter, most of these are unusable. I’m not interested in how many times I can hear the toms in one second. Or how fast one of your studio musicians can play the drums. Most of the grooves that you provide would never fit into any song worth hearing. They might be good for a drum solo–just not for a song.
I’m more interested in different bass drum and snare patterns. Most songs are in 4/4 time. Provide better beats with more variety please. It’s silly that there are three basic bass drum beats in 4/4 time.
Does anyone feel the same?
