- What Version of SD3 are you using?
- What version of Reaper?
- What version of Windows?
We need that info to try to reproduce this bug.
Most recent version of SD3
Most recent version of Reaper 5.971
Windows 7 on my DAW computer
It’s in the GUI in general and yes, the “hovering” doesn’t work. If you hover over it…the visual that should pop up is squirrely…exactly as I described. Literally. In fact, I get that when I hover over EVERYTHING. Every “tip” that should pop up…is just a slight transparent indentation in the background. ie…labels are not working;) I can’t get a screen shot without either moving the cursor of activating the other program. The very second any other program moves to the active foreground….visible or not…the transparent label disappears completely. Clearly, the software is triggering the label per normal, it’s just not displaying properly. I’ve changed my Reaper theme as well, to no avail.
I agree. Once you’ve invested so much into EZdrummer…the crossgrade should be MUCH lower. I really would like to get onboard with Superior and start spending my $ down that road…but $319 just to cross over (and I’d HAVE to purchase the HD, as my internet is pretty slow)…ugh. So $518 in total….ouch:(

Thanked by: DeathWalkingTerror and sfran162That’s great to hear! It looks like the SDX expansions are quite different from the EZXs. Is there crossover in the SDX or are they completely different and better? Will any EZXs installed still be 16 bit…or does it pull these from a 24 bit library?
Here’s the deal…my recording computer isn’t connected to the internet. Getting EZdrummer 2 and all the sound libraries installed was a pain. Can I uninstall and then reinstall EZdrummer 2 without losing all my sounds and midi packs? Maybe that will reset whatever has happened?
Correct, Windows 7 Professional, 64 bit. I tried what you suggested…no change. Volume in EZdrummer standalone can only be reduced by 12db (from settings). This click is SO loud that I thought it was going to blow my speakers. Even if I turn down my computer’s volume (which is not what I want to do) the click is MUCH louder than the actual drums.
It was SO long ago that I messed with this….I don’t remember how I installed it. It came with a huge box set of discs. (things I don’t own) I believe I just paid for the basic EZ Drummer. When I load the disc it does NOT autoload or offer an install prompt. Do I just install from the TT106 folder?
Hi Scott,
Thanks for the info. I changed the sample rate as suggested and I did notice an increase in loading speed:) Another question EZdrummer(toontracks) doesn’t offer a step sequencer for their drums? Because that sure would make this software complete.
Scott
