Volume Control or CC7 info whilst being a Midi Parameter has nothing to do with a midi note velocity value.
It does control the volume of the midi instrument in context to a mix.

I know, but the foot controller forces the user to find a workaround, to get creative. The people of Keith Millen Instruments (KMI) tell me it should work by sending a CC simultaneously with the Note on event (but it does NOT work yet). The silly reason is that their firmware/software does not allow to control the Velocity parameter within the note event itself by the amount of pressure.
They propose to set and to transmit two commands for each foot pad action (see screenshot below!):
The Velocity value in the first line (they call them modlines) is STATIC and can not be influenced by pressure value (grmpfgrrumble!!!?§$!% :-( !

Programming a single modline like this Pressure value –> Note Set, Note 49, Vel. 100 or 0 or 127 (e.g.) only results in a continuous fire of note triggering with every changing pressure value!

Any ideas for a workaround?? KMI + its forum don’t have!

    Kind regards

Yes, I fully agree that this issue needs to be moved to a high priority. Don’t underestimate it! It would make handling so much better.
Please offer the SD (and EZD) with larger or scalable screen interface in the near future. I’m sure you would win a lot more of new and content customers.
If it will take too much time to program a scalable window for these plugins, please offer them in different sizes to be selected for different screen resolutions at least.
    PLEASE DO IT!
