haha no djent crap to be found here kiddos. i suppose that explains the lack of responses. anyways i always figured there might be a few people on these boards that appreciate some good grind blasts but listening through the posts on the demo sections reveals that most users on here prefer breakdown metal. yawn. anyways ill be taking this down in a bit.
being an electronica ezx owner…i was just gonna buy the number 1 hits for the hell of it
oh and btw if you wanna hear what can be done with the library of the extreme packs just check out my song in the demo section of the forum. im gonna repost it because i just added some vocals
the library of the extreme is awesome. both of them are LOTE 2 has a bunch of skank beats and d beats and the original is all blasts. you might also wanna check out the DFH ezx expansion it also has some really awesome midi loops
man ive been hearing so much about these bare knuckle pick ups. im thinking of getting the painkiller set. the guitar tone is nice and crunchy. im listening to this on my laptop pc speaker btw.
how about some automation parameters? i really want to control the mixer with say something like the nanokontrol…
i actually installed from a previous download from my TT accnt that i had saved on my external hdd. i just uninstalled that one and dl’d it again straight from my tt accnt and re installed. now the version number shows 1.0.1 and the fx channels are responding to the presets
i ran the patch but the version number still stays the same @ 1.0.0. this is weird. i read that other post about an update coming soon?
mmm how about some automation parameters? that would work really well with the electronica ezx inside S2. automating the bleed in the fx channels would be really cool for that ezx for example.
in the EZPP fx tab select the MIDI button and be sure the MIDI output>merges with MIDI input is checked. i think that may alleviate your issue i hope. i know theres a thread in the S2 DAW section about this.
haha sorry for my condescending tone brochacho. the snare hits are really light in the original library of the extreme so its either turn that velocity knob to the right(assuming your using ezdrummer or ezplayer pro) or you can open your daws midi editor and manually edit the velocity. i end up upping the velocity then editing the midi at a later time for a more natural feel. or you can create your own blasts from scratch using renoise!
i dont trigger S2 with an e-kit but i dont get any pops and crackles when recording S2 in reaper. then again ive been using a bit of freeware called processor lasso. that thing has even tamed my unruly amplitube 3 which would pop and snap like a cat on crack.
lol the extreme eq’d kick sounds weird. lots of smack and no body. im sure theres an appropriate mix for that of course. i use dfh if im going for more of a drum machine sound to be honest. it sounds awesome for agoraphobic nosebleed type midi grind. rather use metalheads or the metal foundry for a more realistic sound plus those dfh samples were originally released 10 years ago i believe. so compared to the new stuff released since then it may sound dated.
