By the way, you have a 100 Mbit/s connection (or 100 Mbps) but the Product Manager shows the download speed in MB/s (megabytes per second).  

Ive had the same issue for months. Im downloading sd3 and same thing. When I start the download it will be at a top speed of about 1-3 MB/s then after 10 min or so it goes down in the KB/s so I restart the program and it goes up to its top speed for about 10 min again. And that top speed makes 40gigs take about 8 hrs but since I have to vigilantly restart it all the time its more like a day.
