I’m on Windows, and my Cocktail is version 1.3.3, and Pock/Rock is 1.40.
Everything else is 1.50, but Modern/Vintage are both 1.00
EDIT: Seems I was able to update Cocktail to 1.40, but looking thru the My Products page, it was telling me that the Pop/Rock kit was activated, but it’s working on my computer.
Got the issue again tonight, even tried taking the plugin offline to see if it would help, but it didnt.
The amount knob also constantly says ‘calculating’ when it gets like this.
Whichever preset had the ‘Hybrid Racktom1″ I believe ‘Attitude’.
I understand that, but it is a HUGE ring for me. No other kit piece does it, no other racktom1 does it, not other kits do it. If a drummer presented me with that drum Id tell him he needed a new drum.
I have Reaper 32x, Windows 8.1, and I just tried this with the Pop! kit, and did not get any crashes or freezes.

Are you mouse-clicking the groove or using a connected MIDI controller/keyboard?
I’m using a mouse, and no matter how many times I try to line my beat up on the metronome hit, I’m inevitably off on one or a few, or I cant get like 3 of the hits on, and the 4th hit off, and have to redo the entire thing.
Not sure if it’s just me, or it’s clunky, but I’ve never had an issue with metronomes before.20
Cool, I figured you were aware of the issue.
Any idea when the update is planned for? Thanks!
I was wondering about presets missing too…
I have the Pop! EZX, and it seems to not really have any preset effect chains. It just changes the drums, but nothing else.
You cannot use a guitar/bass/keys groove to find more grooves as far as I know, but you can tap out a groove similar enough to your written track to match it. I don’t know if similar grooves on different hits will yield similar results, ie, tapping out identical hits on a snare versus a hi hat, or if identical grooves on different drums will get different results. Just play with it.

But can you do that on like 1/8th or 1/16th of a bar? It seems I can only split at like half measures, but I’ll check again with zooming in.
Thanks for the advice.
I just wanted to BUMP this because there was recently a thread asking about it!
According to this thread:

The ‘play style’ and ‘Song Creator’ program works with 3rd party/user created grooves, but not the Tap to Groove feature.
How does the Song Creator work, but the Tap feature doesn’t for 3rd party? Surly they work on the same engine?
