Hi Scott…thanks for taking the time to comment. A 70’s rock feel is exactly what I’m going for with more modern heavier guitars on the outro solo. I’ll try it with a lower drum tone and give it a listen.

Sounded great! Excellent guitar playing…reminded me of early days Eric Johnson. Nice mix too, everything had plenty of room and it was easy on the ears. Well done. That Trilian + Superior combination is something else eh?

Liking it. Did you do something on the new track to stereo separate the guitar? The original recording sounds a little bigger (guitar wise) but the new one still sounds nice and wide. You are right, it clears up some space for the drums and vocals…the new mix is better.

Scott, just bought it downloaded and activated on toontrack.com in my account but it’s not asking for the serial number when I reboot and open exmix in logic. It does not show an option to select column “preset pack” so i don’t think it installed correctly? I do see it in the toontrack folder right next to ezmix. Is there a secondary step I need to do to get it to work?

cvmusic, what’s your opinion on the Modern Pop/Rock pack? I just did my first mix with the original pack and was really happy with the results. Is the additional pack worth it?
