I just talked to a friend who has these installed and he stated they are not showing up in his SD3 list of kits even though all of the other EZX expansions in that folder are discovered. Is there an operation to perform to get these to show up?

Wow, this is incredibly useful. Thank you so much for posting this. I’m actively using the few drum maps I have and was planning to create more as needed. This will save a lot of time.  I like to rearrange the order into my own custom maps as well so this will be a good starting point.

Thanks, I’m in that thread and have those drum maps. That covers a few of them. I’m in the process of creating a few. Sure wish Toontrack would speak up and address this issue. They should be providing these for their customers.

Alright, I’ve gotten further with this by selecting the drum map as the midi out device from the midi track in Cakewalk.

Next step is…. more drum maps. Where can I find all of the Cakewalk / Sonar drum maps for EZX expansion packs?

I’d like to add to this discussion. I’d like to understand if drum maps in cakewalk can get me to where I need to be. I’ve created a simple drum map in cakewalk but cannot seem to get it to apply to the step sequencer.

Is there no one out there working with EZdrummer drum maps for Cakewalk?  I have to think there would be a large number of people looking to solve this particular problem. Thanks!

I would like to revive this thread. There are a lot of forum posts scattered around the interwebs on this particular subject and yet nowhere are the drum maps posted. Does someone have knowledge in this area or have a collection of drum maps that they can share?

Thanks for the post but that does not help.  There are a lot of kits for ezdrummer and I’m trying to avoid having to create them all for Sonar / Cakewalk. These used to be posted on the Toontrack site and somebody out there must own them. Just need to fine the right person and have them post them.

You provided a URL to one person who has just a couple of them for Cakewalk.

I’m still looking for this. Can somebody who owns these drum maps please post them on a cloud service for those of us who would like obtain them?  Thanks!

Thank you I was able to submit a support ticket regarding this issue.

Also, I believe the issue is that the plugin will not load the drumkits. I can see that it is using 0 MB of RAM. Switching between installed kits does not initiate a load of that kit.

So the question is…. how to go about troubleshooting kits not loading?
